"Fed Denies Report It's Involved in Talks on Buying Mortgages" Why on earth would they need to do this, when the worst financial crisis since the great depression is over, confidence has been fully restored in the banking system, the investment banks now have been assured ample liquidity, and the economy is on track for a quick recovery?
