Special Operations won't be "equal" to the other commands until that is a four star billet. I agree with you in principal. The highest Army SO billet (3-star) is where Mulholland is headed. But we should recognize that capturing the Army Special Operations flag is a solid start. The only 4-star Special Operations billet in any of the services is the one joint position in Tampa. It is occupied today by SEAL, Admiral Olson. Army Special Operations Command is rated a major command (MACOM). Mulholland will sit at the big tables, both up front and in the back rooms. First you crawl, then you walk, then you run.
