the olympics rally anticipated. Many people expected selling 6 months (the usual market foresight) before the Olympics would be a prudent approach to the exuberance.

Buffett closed out Berkshire's PTR even earlier and happily paid $1.2 billion taxes on the gain.

And the 1-2% tax rate was just an earlier-years incentive, and Robin Li repeatedly answered that it would increase (to high single digits).
