I saw McCain on the news again, and once again they showed Lieberman correcting him for saying that Iran was training Al Qaeda. (He has repeated the mistake 4 times recently) I see only two possible reasons.

1) Either McCain is purposely trying to mislead the public and is therefore no better than Cheney.

or

2) He's exhibiting signs of 'Old-timers disease' (senility) and is going to be increasingly forgetful in the next few years. The guy has a few years on the chassis.
