What I said was a suggestion that those who don't love their country as a matter of conscience should consider finding a country they could love. Not the same.

You sound like picking a country is like picking out some flowers at your corner florist. It isn't. Getting permanent residence much less citizenship in another country ranges from difficult to impossible. Often the language is difficult, and the American emigre would be leaving family, friends and much of their cultural ties behind. Employment prospects can be very limited.

Maybe more Americans could be tolerant of the fact that all US citizens have an inherent right to live here and believe and say whatever they damn well please, patriotism PC police be damned.

Why is it so important to be surrounded by likeminded lovestruck cheerleaders anyway? Do differing POVs on the issue undermine your citizenship?
