Probably a very good move. I work in the industry and I've never seen the stocks do well <even with the wild card of expansion into explosive global market> when volume declines like it is.

I'm a supplier of stuff for the single largest volume platform in North America. We are watching our releases fall off week after week after week. Somewhere there are a lot of vehicles in staging or dealer lots. I was laughing when Rick was talking about the strike a few weeks back. IMO, GM welcomed this strike to a certain degree.

It is interesting to me that goldbugs are so concerned with gold and miners right after a week that should have been explosive for gold. In my opinion, this is exactly the kind of action to be expected by tricky Ben, but it is a game with limited upside and duration. Sure a lot of leveraged players may have gotten forced out, but if the fundamentals support that trade, those forced out will be very quickly replaced by those that recognize the game for what it is.

I wonder if the demand for physical in India and China is accurate, and if it is, then support for POG might be much stronger than many seem to believe.

After the big drain, I wonder what the next dollar support trick might be, and what the repercussions of the drain and that next trick might be for the broader market.
