All I gotta say to that is 'channeling' credit to FNM and FRE worked so well from 2001-present that they 'limited' the growth of commodity prices from 250 to 'only' 1000/oz in gold and 15 to 'only' 110/bbl in Crude.....<G> Or look at the last period when FF rate was 2.25%...2003. What was the CRB then? And now? (A: 230...vs. 390) Stuff is going higher. The current mirage may not last through the week....
