I think that was the problem people had with your statement about loving countries.

Upon further reflection, I think I should, scratch that, I think it would be best that I just avoid the word "should." "Should" is too easily read as "have to." I think it would also be best that I avoid any topic that could be even remotely reminiscent of the patriotism hot button.

What people might want, or what they might love, has a little to do with many people's lives.

Can't argue with that. The subject, like much of what we discuss, is mostly navel gazing.
