Sixty minutes had a segment on the Doomsday Vault near Norway where they are storing seeds for future disasters. Apparently, irreplaceable seeds have been lost in other seed banks like Afghanistan where people invaded the Seed Bank and dumped out all of the unique local seeds so they could have the plastic containers they were in. SG
