It probably gets attention at the end of the cycle when the misery index goes parabolic like 1980? But by then even Mish will have switched sides<g>

I'm thinking the inflation really takes off after we get out of this current recession and housing inventory drops back to reasonable levels again. So it could delay the normal 12-18 month lag time by a bit especially if petro dollars keep recirculating, Asia and Europe catch up to our fed and back end monetezation accelerates even more to combat housing deflation and keep long term rates 'artificially' low?
