What is more pathetic than right-wingers trying to distance themselves from Bush's failed conservative policies by saying he isn't conservative enough.

George Bush followed the Reagan play-book right down the line, but thanks to his winning the trifecta on 9/11 (his words), he was Reagan on steroids:

-- Increase the power of the executive branch.

-- Lower taxes on the wealthy.

-- Deregulate business.

-- Weaken government oversight of industry.

-- Privatize government services (including the military).

-- Reward cronies rather than competence.

-- Use symbols of patriotism and religion to attack critics.

-- Deny the citizenry the right of redress.

-- Cut social services and infrastructure needs in favor of an unchecked military budget..

His (and therefore our) economy is in the tank, and he's a lost a war of aggression to a small band of underarmed discontents thanks to his misguided triumphalism, and jlallen thinks we need more of the same. LOL.

Who you gonna vote for? Ghostbusters? Ron Paul? Mike Huckabee? Guess you're stuck with that ole Arizona Commie John McCain. The Republican Party doesn't even care what mindless right-wingers like jlallen think anymore. They need to appeal to the middle now, not the right-wing extremists.
