The Dem pundits are now saying that the superdelegates will wrap the thing up in June after the last voting is done. For example, see Noah Schreiber's current TNR piece, Slouching Towards Denver.

Myself, I don't get it. What is going to make the superdelegates act in June? Justified fear of a trainwreck in the convention? But that trainwreck represents Hillary Clinton's best hope! Are the superdelegates going to be able to override the wishes of the Clintons and everybody in the party beholden to the Clintons?

Besides, getting together in a mini-convention or even in a big Web Meeting would be a stand-up, responsible kind of move on the part of party officials. Therefore it is the last thing I expect.
