Prepare to hear the T word (as in trillion) if one of these big boys goes totally under. I told a poster (who shall remain nameless) last week that I thought the 30 billion, no skin in by JP was an engineered attempt to avoid the word "failure" associated with Bear Stearns. I think the deal was hatched over the weekend so that we didn't have a capitulation event on Monday. I still feel that way - maybe even more.
