I don't disagree with you, and I wish Bill would just stay away. I truly think she does better without him.

But for General McPeak to level a charge of McCarthyism and pump up a huge crowd with it is pretty low in my book.

As for Michelle, I'm inclined to give newbies such as her a veeeeeery long leash, esp. when speaking off the cuff like that. I think she's conducted herself just fine, in fact admirably.
