Hey Peter....No, he totally would agree with you. The Government has been spending wildly, and far too much. He just thinks we should do away totally with the Fed Income Tax, and turn to one that is much more fair.

And I think that many of us here agree with you on this....I've said as much myself, and so has my 'relative Economist.....' Now we just have to squash the Dems who continue to give everything away, just as if they themselves had earned it all.....We ALL know that isn't true.

It is the level of spending. Governments do not create wealth or help people. It is capitalism that creates wealth and it is wealth that allows societies to provide free services to those to weak willed to care for themselves.
