Maybe we should draw the line in the questions asked, not the answers given.

I've actually experienced a scenario where people were asked under oath about their sex lives questions that were irrelevant to the investigation. I did a lot of soul searching at the time and discussing with my colleagues and concluded that lying is acceptable under those circumstances. I can't draw a hard line on the answer when the question is off base.
