Sell Financial Rallys- Buy Commodity Dips.

The market is trading in a very predictable pattern. Wall Street insiders are shorting the hell out of the week, or ten days leading into the Fed meetings (shaking out Main Street)- and almost blackmailing the Fed into cutting rates. Did you hear Art Cashin? He said brokers were reporting the highest level of puts and shorts they had ever seen last week.

Once the Fed cuts- the insiders cover and go long, and then the minute Main Street comes back in, they turn on a dime and short the rally.

I bought back some more gold and silver stocks here, but Slider got me thinking. Who am I going to sell to- 20-30% higher from here if oil retraces, if other commodities stay soft, and what has to happen in the market to drive the 'herd' to buy gold stocks 20-30% higher than from where I'm rebuying them here? What must happen between now and then?

Good post Slider. I'm in for a trade, but will be patient and try to wait for the dust to settle and see if the Fed starts repriming the pump.

Ron
