First Albany Corp said analyst Matt Barzowskas initiated coverage
of FORE SYSTEMS INC. (down 7/16 to 20 at 12:22 pm EDT) with a
neutral rating. He said its calendar year 1998 EPS estimate of
$0.44 is currently being reflected in the price of the stock. He
said Fore has positioned itself as the leading provider of
