Anybody watching Frontline last night & tonight? ("Mr Bushes War") Broad coverage of the events leading up to war, and (tonight) the aftermath. Well done IMO, with a great many interviews by many of the main participants. Much of the material is similar to that found in 2 excellent books I read sometime back: Peter Galbraith's "The End of Iraq" and especially, Richard Clark's "Against All Enemies" which is particularly good, since he was there in the bunkers with Cheney, Rummy et al in the days after 9/11. In Frontline, I believe it was either Richard Armitage (or else Larry Wilkerson) who tells of being pulled aside by Scooter Libby and asked to 'cool it' with their disputing what Dick Cheney was publically, and repeatedly saying regarding yellowcake, aluminum tubes, and other 'proof' that by then THEY ALL KNEW knew was false information.

Leading a nation to war under intentionally false and misleading pretenses has to be one of the most egregious crimes a sitting VIP can committ... I'm not proud I voted for those 2 in 2000, but at least I didn't make the same mistake the 2nd time around.

IMHO
