I really don't see why we can't bring American jobs and manufacturing home to Americans, raise trade tariffs, and if someone wants to buy a better product made foreign which costs 3x as much and they can afford it, then let them go ahead. Outsourcing has benefited one group of people - corporations - allowing them to keep the cream for the officers, with very little trickling down to either the employees in terms of wage or other benefits or to the stockholders in terms of dividends. Not a universally fair statement but close enough...
