One of our son's was using Craigslist while looking for a home in ID....He saw a house from the outside that looked perfect. He wrote to someone online about the house.

Long story, but the guy who replied said his same was xxxx, and that he was in Africa and wouldn't be back for awhile, so he was renting his house. Guy asked a price, and asked for references, and a letter from son...The letter had misspellings which was odd, because whoever it was said he was a Dr. xxxx xxxx....

Son, and both of us here, thought there was something wrong. Turns out, there was....guy is a fake, as the house is also listed on line with two RE offices....

On Monday, son called one office, and found the guy who was doing the writing was NOT the owner....Another scam for money.... Wonder how often this kind of thing happens???
