Dorothy, just a suggestion - read reply #1101 by Andy Chen under the Bay Networks thread (Communications).

Even though the article talks about small caps mainly, I think it is generally beneficial to keep those "rules" by your side, especially when you feel inclined to invest your money based on advice from a voice on a radio or someone on these forums.
