1) Do you think that the lows have been set for this current market?

Yes, I do believe we have seen the worst already.

2) are you selling other investments to get into these new positions?

No, I am not selling anything. But I may start trading some stocks soon. Say like AMAT. Even though I think the solar business will be huge the stock's price has never appreciated as quickly as I would expect many of my positions will do when the turn higher hits in force.

3) what percent of your portfolio is cash?

50% of my portfolio is still in cash. I am easing in because while the market may have bottomed individual stocks may not have at all. Also the technology sector which is generally one of the hottest at the beginning of an economic expansion is still absorbing the blows associated an actual recession. Note the downgrade of the semi equipment stocks today that allowed me to buy some AMAT at 20.
