'While the last 6 years has been a debt financed boom, the next boom will be owners of cash who spend their wealth rather than watch it evaporate in an inflationary bonfire.'

I say it is a good chance that happens. For all the talk of strapped homeowners and speculators who didn't have anything back in 2003 or bankrupt builders, realtors, and mortgage brokers as somehow being the drivers of our economy there do seem to be even more well of folks with cash today than in 2003 or even 1999.. Probably part of our free market capital system on steroids?

I go on Ben Jones blog once in a while to read the messages for fun..Seems most of the armageddon mongers there who were either 'smart' or lucky to miss the housing boom/bust think deflation is the future and they are the smart ones, not there 'dumb' cousin or coworker strapped in debt slavery. Maybe they all are 'dumb'<g>
