>what is the likelihood of you walking away? The real question is what are the CONSEQUENCES of walking away. Anyone know what loopholes exist? Remember that prime mortgagees probably have other capital, savings, earnings, etc. So for them to walk away this should be riskless for their other assets and possibly future credit-ability.
