I totally agree with this take on present situation:

I think we've seen over the years that just seeing a demonstration does not guarantee a contract. IMO, that's a simplistic view, one hpobet tried to sell for many years. In hpobet's view, he thinks you should just walk into these machining plants and they'll take your process right out of the back of your truck if they see it work once. Sorry, things don't work that way in the real world. The stumbling block, IMO, has been the lack of process certifications that ensures the process is repeatable, the proper controls are in place and there are minimal spoiled parts. It's become apparent, to me at least, that they won't get orders until they are certified. I thought Tier One status would help, but apparently they need more than that. They are now in the process of finalizing these certifications. Like business in many large corporations, things just won't get done until the proper amount of "red tape" is in place.
