Not much for me to disagree with there....for instance it would be hard to argue that post war Iraq'a management has not been botched to a greater degree that this enterprise should normally be expected to be..although I would venture to guess since we are trying to divine Cheney's mindset that his notions about SH were more than adequately supported by his experiences in the first Gulf War and the fact that SH had not fully complied with the cease fire accords for over 12 years....and more tellingly...given that experience it is hard to explain how he could have remained complacent in the face of SH's suspicious and obstructionist behavior with regard to the inspectors... Again, nothing evil....and no "lies" which evince a deliberate attempt to deceive.... Edit: Thanks for not ducking out....
