at 3.15 pm today most pros had a pretty good idea that eps were going to be about 88...this was posted on a news wire ....before that the stock was down a lot more for most of the day..after that it rallied in pos territory and fell back slightly near the end....point is once the real money knew the whereabouts of the earnings the pressure was off...INTC has underperformed most key techs of recent waiting for this ....now its out of the way the stock can move on... likewise TXN sold off after a huge appreciation earlier this qtr...enjoy the dips ....
