But he's right about physical, all these ETFs and certificates and allocated pools etc are just crap - even if behind the scenes they do exactly as they say they'll do, you're always going to wonder about them, knowing how powerful is their motivation to start re-inventing 'fractional banking' with your metal ... when you've got a piece of silver or gold in your hand, you know where it is and what's up with it, and when you don't, you don't ... anyway, you get a lot more silver for your buck in the sharemarket, i figure once you've got enough physical to amply cover your emergency flight to tropical paradise, you can carry only so much in a rucksack, why not put the rest of your funds to work
