Still sounds a little expensive, when you have to add all the other necessary equipment to save and store the energy. Even in farms, I'm wondering how fast is the return on investment and what are the costs in getting new batteries every few years? They don't look too practical for city use. At least solar panels are flat.

Farms I can see, especially in desert areas. They better be sealed well if they are going to be used in desert conditions. I wonder how much maintenance they need to keep tracking the sun all year long?
