"A Democrat cruising a restroom wouldn't be news." Don't play stupid, Brumar. Yes it would. Anytime a politician gets arrested it is news. And the more embarrassing, the more news it generates. People love it when a politician humiliates his or her self. Which is why a politician gets caught being a hypocrite it generates so much news. It isn't so much that the hypocrisy is the factor, it is the showing that professed stances are so hollow. So yes, an openly gay Democrat cruising the bathrooms would generate a lot of news. Cruising public restrooms for anonymous sex is what you do when you want to hide your sexuality.
