I like Ron Paul's take the best, if he could be considered a rival. The fact that he has been calling attention to these issues for many years rather than simply reacting to the news is, unfortunately, part of what makes him a "marginal" candidate. No one is going to win over the WSJ or NYT editorial boards, or win an election for that matter, by correctly pointing out that the Fed is simply a welfare system for bankers.
