Most Americans can barely afford to travel to their meaningless jobs and don't have a passport. Only the upper echelon have ever traveled to Europe. In fact, the weak dollar vs. euro mostly impacts wealthy Americans. French wines, German cars, Euro vacations and Italian apparel are only enjoyed by the top 5% of the income strata.
