Garbage is now an official asset supporting the Fed liabilities, the Federal reserve notes -ggg- This is very early in the crisis, IMHO. As the RE and banking melt progresses, Fed balance sheet fills up with garbage, then the splash happens once the can is full. -g- We'll have volatility.
