1) I believe Jerry said "capable of 150 nanometer technology", however
I know that Intel and the industry plan to go from .25 to .18 to .13, so I am not sure about .15.

2) re K7 on slot 1, we knew that AMD was considering this for some time. Atiq Raza was quoted months ago as saying that AMD would decide tto improve socket 7 to either an enhanced socket 7 or to a form that would be compatible with slot 1 - it looks like that they are doing both.

3) re slot 1 not being of any advantage to s7, at these speeds it is no signifcant advantage. as clock speeds increase, having a DIB type of architecture will pay off

4) Intels patents are not on the shape of the interface, ie AMD can make a chip module to fit slot 1 Motherboards (a good idea since they will be mainstream in a year), but about other technical details (I do not know which, maybe the ?DIB)
