Been hearing about hedge funds stockpiling metals for a couple of years, now. Hasn't stopped metals prices from rising. It does, of course, make that area of investment more volatile, as does leveraging. But the leveraging in commodities isn't new either. Nor is increasing margin requirements new, it's been going on all the way up.

I'm just saying none of this is new. Now that doesn't mean we are not already topped out in metals or that we will soon top out. I don't pretend to know, the market will decide.
