Maybe. I think with the elections coming up and sustainably high oil prices, these solar stocks are the way to go. I agree with $Mogul. It took me time to get around, but given the way the markets are, we have time. But I would caution - don't speculate with companies that don't have real earnings momentum. Overvaluation with earnings is a much better sin than being profitless. This market will destroy you otherwise.

I do think oil is rightfully being bought as a hedge against fiat currency destabilization. I would want Central Banks to either raise rates or deflation to raise rates for them (via real rates) before I said it's over for the commodity sector. But with that said I think it's price is a little out of whack with fundamentals.

I like gold way better than oil as the currency hedge. Furthermore, I think gold stocks are probably the single best play out there and I have 50% of my portfolio in this sector alone now.

So in summary, PM stocks and solar for the summer.
