Oh, dear, Jay -- attacking the Dalai Lama?

That man is the closest thing to Jesus Christ on earth you will see in your lifetime, the real message of Jesus, before it became Paulized. Love your neighbor as yourself.

He doesn't have magical powers, he's not God or a god, doesn't pretend to be. He's a simple Buddhist monk, but he's also extremely wise and benevolent.

I told you I have a "Friend of Tibet" license plate. Did I tell you it's a vanity plate? My license plate is WWDLD.

I realize that, for reasons which are too weird for me to follow, you can't help yourself, you have to attack him, without comprehending that you're making him stronger, more popular, more beloved, raising his profile.

Much like crucifying Christ eventually brought down the pagan Roman Empire.

Similarly, let me say it before you do, torturing innocent Iraqis has destroyed US credibiity for all the world. One innocent, tortured man wearing a burlap hood appeals to the enlightened conscience in his simplicity and his humility.

You can't crush a humble man without crushing yourself.

But you won't listen. People like you never do. You can't help yourself.

It is, after all, an excellent time for the world to see how China really treats Tibetans. Go ahead, show us, the whole world is watching.
