I tend to agree with Jeff's definition of what a mid-major program is. Conferences such as A-10, Colonial, MVC, Horizon, MAC are some who fit the bill of a mid-major. The lack of a Div 1 football program sure doesn't make Georgetown, St. Johns, etc. a mid-major.

Mid major conferences are ones who usually have a chance of getting an at-large bid to the dance.
