regarding the cultural revolution, mistakes, and official admission of so, interestingly and encouragingly, there now are museums in second tier cities (chengdu, population 10 mil +/-) that are dedicated to the horrors of the cultural revolution, to serve as collective memory, universal learning, and to test the waters to usher in same all across the land

the process of such rolling out of experiments is similar in the economic field, but in this case applied to political/social history

i still do not see any genuinely factual museum in boston devoted to the failed vietnam war effort that was the morally bankrupt wet work ushered in by one man one vote democracy

and so admission to a wrong in the case of mesopotamia may still be far off
