Yeah, I was waiting for Maliki to be declared the "new Saddam" by his opponents. Clearly, our ally, the PM, doesn't seem fit to work with us on choosing his time and place of battle, but expects our full support when he lights the fuse...... Sadly, we really have no allies in this particular struggle. We have groups that will use us for their own ends, of course, but no allies.
