What are you talking about? His first affair that we know of was in 1977. The second that we know of was in 2000. He resigned in 1998. Hard to see how news of his affairs were going to leak out in 1998 when one had been known about for years and the other hadn't even started.,/i> He resigned during the Clinton scandal period when the Hustler magazine guy was publicizing dirt on Republicans.
