No...the typical italian were too busy trying to survive and feed their families. It was a horrible time according to my father


Whether its an American thing or not, one thing is clear that since WW I, it has been verbotem to criticize the US and its president during wartime. I would really like to see if the same thing happens in other countries as well. I suspect it was true in 1930s Germany but I don't know if its been true in other countries.
