It looked like Curry was trying to penetrate and go for two figuring Kansas would not foul. The double team was effective which made him think twice about driving in. Not much of a pick if that was supposed to be a pick and roll. You can't risk not giving the ball to Curry on the inbounds and then never finding him after that, so Davidson had the right idea, IMO. I had Kansas but was rooting for Davidson.
