This guy is a pretty mainstream commentator - on CBS MarketWatch.com . If I was paranoid, I might think someone at the FED or some I-bank is feeding this guy the information for some reason...

Anyway , India buying gold, and gold lease rates are WAY DOWN.
Are central banks pushing gold down ?

marketwatch.com

If the price of gold cracks some more, I expect almost every commodity to fall with it, because the people who are long gold are long everything else except the USD.

A commodity drop means inflation risk appears to go away, AND money that was chasing commodities can now chase other assets - like bank stocks and/or deep discounted mortgages.

Well, don't fight the FED, especially if they have the ECB, Bank of England, and who knows who else on their side. Maybe some countries that hold enormous amounts of Treasury bills ?
