Interstate appears to be a likely candidate for Sara Lee because of its strategic fit and availability; Interstate, trying to reorganize in Bankruptcy Court, is seeking a buyer for all or parts of its business. Other acquisition candidates for Sara Lee may include Kraft's (KFT) Oscar Mayer or Procter & Gamble's (PG) Folgers.
