Great! My cable company was just purchased by Comcast, and soon I will have to deal with Comcast's customer service if any issues arise. We might go with Verizon instead. They are offering a new FiOs network that is suppossed to be faster than cable. But Verizon's customer service stinks too. It literally took us days to add a second cell phone to our plan. They just wern't set up properly to deal with a rather simple request.

An analyst said GU had hit their target of $15, so they changed their rating from buy to hold. Too much too fast I guess. If you want to get in GU, a good time might be around late June when the lockup period ends, meaning all the insiders and firms that helped bring GU out as an IPO can start selling their shares. That usually causes a dip in the price of a stock for a period of time, unless there is heavy buying pressure and the new shares are absorbed.

I have confirmed that it appears that CDS has applied to be listed on NASDAQ in May. That could light a nice little fire under that stock between the listing hoopla and the greater exposure on NASDAQ.

Another company I am following is Emcore (EMKR). The stock is down hard after a short selling company called Citron released a negative report. I looked over the report and the customers they try to disparage, and I think it's a weak smear. The customers are not nearly as shaky as Citron makes it appear. EMKR might be a good rebound stock and is basing now in he upper $5s. EMKR is suppossed to be profitable later this year, and has the most efficient solar technology commericially available at 40% efficiency. I think EMKR might be a takeover target if solar gets hot later this year.
