The 3rd Quarter results are in!

Looks like TBRL hit their revenue and EPS projections for the 3rd quarter. The lone estimate for the 3rd quarter was $.07 and they came in at $.08. Revenue growth was up an expected 32 % over last year's 3rd quarter.

I still think that they can do $27 million in revenue for FY97, but I think I may be wrong with my $.35 EPS estimate. I forgot that they amortize the opening costs of each new store over a 12 month period, so this is going to add to expenses, as well as the goofy MN minimum wage law, and the added taxes. (Last week we went to Timber Lodge. Our tab was $35, and I left a $7 tip. This means our server earned $5.15 per hour, instead of the old $4.25, plus the $7, for a total of $12.15 per hour. And this was just for one table! Just two tables per hour would net the server almost $20 per hour! The MN legislature has it's head up it's honorable ---). One of TBRL's manager's told me that the cost of the law change would be about $160,000 in additional expense. That's $.04 per share! Well, I guess the servers will be happy.

That's the end of my ranting. Hope everyone makes some money on TBRL in the future.

Marko

P.S. I was told that there are 6 more stores in the works!
