Griffon Subsidiary Gets $100M Facility

Griffon Unit Telephonics Corp. Gets $100 Million Revolving Credit Facility

JERICHO, N.Y. (AP) -- Engineering company Griffon Corp. on Monday said its subsidiary Telephonics Corp. entered into a $100 million revolving credit facility with JPMorgan Securities Inc.

The facility is for five years. Griffon ended its existing credit facility and repaid $62.5 million of outstanding debt, with $50 million under the new credit facility and internal cash.

Griffon said it is seeking a facility for its other subsidiary, Clopay Corp.

Shares of Griffon fell 26 cents, or 2.9 percent, to close at $8.60.
