@Bob - MSS
"
I'm not so sure about that 35% of the worldwide NOR flash market figure, it seems a little dated?
"

The last official Flash number from Intel was Q3 with
553Mio. NOR+NAND combined. I'm not sure, how Intel will
handle this, but the IM stuff seem to be at Intel. At Q3,
I would guess NAND in 100-150mio. range -> have to look,
probably at the lower side. Lets take 100Mio. here -> so
NOR was (very) roughly at 450Mio. in Q3-2007.
Q3 Flash for STM was 352Mio. - also NAND+NOR combined. I
don't know, how much NAND is STM doing. I would guess, that
50Mio. should be NAND at least => this would mean STM +
Intel around (300+450) = 750Mio. in Q3-2007. This number
should be taken with a grain of salt, could be 700Mio. too,
but the range is clear. Once SPSN takes a few % of MSS away
again (Q4, Q1), the overall NOR MSS should be roughly equal.
Could be, that Numonyx + SPSN have around 70% MSS. I assume
its a bit less.
